E assim chegamos ao final de mais um ano!! E que ano...
2013 foi o ano em que dei um enorme salto rumo ao desconhecido e voei para o lado de cá do Atlântico onde me vim instalar na fantástica cidade de Boston para começar toda uma nova vida... uma aventura!!
Foi o ano em que entrei nos 30... e o ano em que casei!!
E foi ainda um ano cheio de difíceis provações... em que aprendi que a paciência e a persistência são definitivamente duas qualidades inestimáveis! Um ano de lágrimas e de sorrisos... Um ano de desafios e de conquistas... O ano em que conheci a verdadeira definição da palavra saudade!!! Um ano que chega agora ao fim e que vem dar lugar a um novo que acredito se venha a tornar tão ou mais fantástico!
Que melhor forma de terminar o ano de 2013 e receber de braços abertos o novo ano do que definindo as nossas resoluções para 2014! Nada daquelas resoluções ultra elaboradas e quase impossíveis de realizar... coisas pequenas e dependentes única e exclusivamente da nossa intenção! Deixo o desafio: peguem na imagem e preencham com a vossa to-do list para 2014!
A minha fica aqui:
-- Comida de conforto! Quero deixar de afogar as minhas tristezas, ansiedades, preocupações e angústias com comida!
-- Quero aprender a ser mais tranquila! Mais serena!
-- São tantos os nomes que podia escrever aqui. Personalidades que admiro e com as quais sei que tenho tanto a aprender, mas neste momento a pessoa que gostaria de ser mais parecida com é comigo própria... com a melhor versão de mim própria!
-- Tornar-me voluntária! Ceder algumas horas do meu tempo a ajudar pessoas/organizações que precisem!
-- Quero aproveitar para conhecer mais dos EUA este ano!
-- Um dos grandes clássicos: Cem anos de solidão!! Mas quero acima de tudo ler mais!!!
-- Uma carta ao meu futuro eu! Para me lembrar no futuro daquilo que sentia e pensava neste momento.
-- Alguma coisa que nunca tenha experimentado antes!
-- A correr! Quero correr mais e mais depressa!
E com isto deixo os meus maiores desejos de um fantástico 2014!! Até para o ano...
And so we come to the end of another year! And what an year...
2013 was the year I took a huge leap into the unknown and flew to this side of the Atlantic to the great city of Boston where I settled down and made my home away from home. Where I started a whole new life... a new adventure!
It was the year I became 30... the year I got married!
It was a year full of difficult trials... where I learned that patience and persistence are definitely two priceless qualities! A year full of tears and smiles... A year full of challenges and achievements... The year I learned the true definition of the word saudade! A year that now comes to an end and opens the way to a new one that I truly believe is goingo to be as much ore even more fantastic!
And wat better way to end 2013 and welcome the new coming year than by setting our resolutions for 2014! None of those fancy, ultra elaborate resolutions, almost impossible to accomplish... small and simple decisions entirely dependent on our will!
I leave the challenge: grab the list above and fill with your own to-do list for 2014!
I leave here my own list:
-- Comfort food! I want to stop eating my sorrows, anxieties and worries!
-- I want to learn how to be more peaceful! More calm!
-- There are so many names that I could write here. People I admire and with whom I know I have so much to learn, but at this time of my life the person I hope to be more like is really myself... the best version of myself!
-- Become a voluntary! Give a few hours of my time to help people/ organizations that need!
-- I want to visit more of the U.S. to meet this year!
-- One of the great classics: One Hundred Years of Solitude! But above all I want to read more!
-- A letter to my future self! To remember in the future what I felt and thought at the moment.
-- Something I've never tried before!
-- Running! I want to run longer and faster!
And with that... I want to wish you all a fantastic 2014!! See you all next year!!
