Como já todos sabem, os Snow Patrol são presença obrigatória na minha playlist! Acho que não há uma única música deles de que não goste... e adoro a voz do vocalista, Gary Lightbody!

Já a minha "relação" com a Taylor Swift é um pouco mais difícil... uma espécie de guilty pleasure!! Se por um lado até gosto das músicas dela e dou por mim a cantá-las no duche, também admito que são assim mais para o juvenil e às vezes até quiçá, um bocadinho para o piroso.

Posto isto... descobri ontem esta colaboração entre eles... a música é da autoria da Taylor que convidou o Gary para este dueto! Desde ontem acho que já carreguei no repeat umas 50 vezes... ouvi e voltei a ouvir e só tenho um comentário a fazer: PERFEITA!!!

As you all already now, Snow Patrol are a must have in my playlist! I don't think they have a single song that I don't like... And I simply adore the leadsinger voice, Gary Lightbody!

As for my "relationship" with Taylor Swift, it has been a trickiest one... a kind of guilty pleasure!! If on one hand I do like her songs and even find myself singing them in the shower, on the other one I also realize they are kind of child-ish and sometimes even a little bit cheesy.

That being said... yesterday I heard this collaboration between them for the first time... the song was written by Taylor who asked Gary to join her in this duo! Since yesterday I believe I already pressed repeat like a thousand times... I've heard it over and over and there's only one possible remark: PERFECT!!!

Perguntava-me ontem um americano - nascido e criado - "Mas como é que tu conheces o Sting?" e depois da minha cara de só-podes-estar-a-gozar continuou a perguntar: "Ahh... vocês ouvem música americana em Portugal?!"

No meio disto tudo fiquei sem saber o que responder... Talvez devesse começar por lhe explicar que o Sting é inglês!

Yesterday an American guy - born and raised - asked me "But how do you know Sting?" and after seeing my you-must-be-joking-me face he continued asking: "Ohh... so you do listen to American music in Portugal?"

I didn't know what to say... Perhaps I should have start by explaining that Sting is English!

Já há anos que sou fã incondicional da P!nk... e desde o ano passado quando conheci os Fun. - e o seu vocalista Nate Ruess - que o album Some Nights ocupa os primeiros lugares na minha playlist!

Descubro agora que estes dois nomes se juntaram para uma música... e sinceramente acho que a combinação não podia ser melhor!


I have been an unconditional fan P!nk fan for some years now... and since last year when I first heard Fun. - and their vocalist Nate Ruess - the album Some Nights occupies the first place in my playlist!

I find now that these two names got together in a song... and sincerely I think that the combination couldn't be better!

São de longe do melhor que se tem feito no mundo da música ultimamente! Estou absolutamente rendida ao som dos Mumford & Sons e bem sei que não sou a única!

Fica aqui a minha homenagem a esta banda inglesa de folk rock... que continuem por aí durante muitos e bons anos a dar-nos sons como este!

They are by far the best we have out there nowadays! I am completely surrendered to the sound of Mumford & Sons and I well know I'm not the only one!

Esta é sem sombra de dúvidas uma das músicas da minha vida...

Talvez porque ser absolutamente viciada em Snow Patrol e adorar tudo aquilo que eles fazem ou talvez porque, apesar de ser uma balada a puxar para o sentimentalismo e um tanto ou quanto melancólica, esta música enche-me de esperança...


This is without a doubt one of the songs of my life...

Maybe because I'm absolutely addicted to Snow Patrol and love every and anything they do or even maybe because, despite being a quite sentimental and melancholic ballad, this song fills me with hope...

Há uns bons dois ou três anos que não ouvia esta música - acho que na altura a ouvi até à exaustão e fiquei absolutamente saturada - mas há uns dias, por acaso, "tropecei nela" e lembrei-me de como a adoro!

É impossível não ficar automaticamente bem disposta... É fantástico!

O video não está com a melhor qualidade, mas dá para ouvir perfeitamente!

There must have been a good couple of years since I heard this song the last time - I did it to exhaustion then and I was absolutely fed up - but a few days ago I "stumbled on it" and remembered how much I love it!

It is impossible not to be automatically in a good mood ... It's absolutely fantastic!
