"A vida é muito curta para andarmos por aí aborrecidos o dia todo."

Uma tarde em conversa, em Taipei - Taiwan, duas amigas - Chay Su e Rika Lin - começaram a esboçar em papel as suas malas de sonho quando de repente a ideia lhes surgiu - Como seria surpreendente se uma ilustração bidimensional desenhada à mão pudesse transformar-se numa mala de verdade!? 

Assim nasceu a JumpFromPaper!

Uma linha de malas divertida e inovadora, com aspecto de desenho animado e cores vivas e alegres, que apesar do aspecto fino e achatado tem um interior suficientemente espaçoso para conseguir acomodar todos os nossos pertences pessoais e até mesmo um computador portátil.

Decobri-as este fim-de-semana na visita que fiz ao ICA - The Institiute of Contemporary Art/ Boston - e achei-as fantásticas... São sem dúvida uma ideia super original e bem divertida!

"Life is too short to go around being boring all day."

One afternoon in conversation, in Taipei - Taiwan, two friends - Chay Su and Rika Lin - began sketching their dream designer handbag when suddenly a surprising idea popped up - How amazing would it be if a two-dimensional hand-drawn illustration could come to life as a real bag!?

That's how JumpFromPaper was born!

A fun and innovative brand, with cartoon-like outlines and bright and cheerful colors, that despite it's the slim and flat appearance has an interior spacious enough to accommodate all our personal belongings and even a laptop.

I found them this weekend at ICA - The Institiute of Contemporary Art / Boston - and found them fantastic... They are undoubtedly a super original and really fun idea!
